WHEN SHOULD I START LOOKING FOR MY DRESS?
Most brides start to look about 12 - 18 months before the wedding. This is about perfect - it gives enough time for your dress to be ordered, arrive and for any alterations to be made before the big day.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK MY APPOINTMENT?
Weekends are usually in demand so it's a good idea to to book about 2 -3 weeks in advance for a Saturday appointment.
WHAT'S THE PRICE RANGE OF YOUR DRESSES?

Our prom/evening dresses range between £60 and £500
We've got bridesmaid dresses between £90 and £350

Call in or make your appointment today to view our full range.
DO ALL DRESSES NEED TO BE ORDERED AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
Generally, yes all of our dresses need to be ordered. But we do, from time to time, have gowns that are available to take away there and then once full payment is made. Ordered gowns take about 5 months to arrive, but if you have less than 5 months to order a gown most designers will offer a rush order service.
DO YOU PROVIDE A FITTING SERVICE?
We offer all our brides the option to use our dedicated seamstress for their fittings and alterations. Our fittings take place at the boutique. The cost of your alterations are NOT included in the price of your gown and as every brides requirements are different we are happy to provide a quote before any work is undertaken. Average alteration costs are usually between £75 and £150 (excluding bespoke items like jackets etc) Payment for your alterations should be made directly to our seamstress by cash at the end of the process before you collect your gown.
WHAT IF I PLAN TO LOSE WEIGHT FOR THE WEDDING?
Please do not feel you need to lose weight before you start to try on gowns. If you wish to do so for your wedding thats not a problem, we can take measurements and discuss sizing. Our seamstress can always take gowns in however we are limited on how much we can let a gown out
WHAT SIZE ARE YOUR SAMPLE GOWNS?
Our sample gowns are between a UK 8 and a UK 22. Please do bear in mind we only have each dress in one size, however with some designers it is possible to order a sample closer to your size to try (separate cost incurred) Many of our gowns are corseted at the back so a size 18 could still try on a size 14 gown and have idea of the final look. equally a size 8 bride can be pinned into a UK 14 gown to see the end look.
HOW MANY DRESSES CAN I TRY ON?
You are welcome to try on as many dresses as you like! We have a very informal approach and we encourage you to try on a wide variety of shapes and styles as you may be suprised as to what style of wedding dress suits you best.
HOW CAN I PAY?
Payment can be made using cash or all major credit and debit cards.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME TO MY FITTING?
The time with the seamstress is important as you will get an idea of how your dress will look on the day. This is why it is imperative that you have sorted out your shoes, underwear, and any accessories that you will be wearing with the dress. PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST BRING YOUR SHOES AND UNDERWEAR TO EVERY APPOINTMENT WITH THE SEAMSTRESS.
HOW DO I PURCHASE MY GOWN?
Once you have decided on the gown we will take your measurements and you will be required to sign a copy of our terms and conditions which we will discuss with you to advise on all key points. You will then pay a deposit to secure your order and enable us to place your gown on order with the designer. We will then arrange for your dress to be delivered into the boutique approximately 12-14 weeks prior to your wedding date. When your gown arrives we will contact you to book in your first fitting. Any remaining balance must be paid when your gown arrives at the shop, before your first fitting or collection.
