A love story years in the making, this bride and groom finally tied the knot after reconnecting across continents, and their laid-back wedding at Little Wolds Vineyard in South Cave was every bit as heartfelt and beautiful as their journey.

Our stunning Elizabeth Kate bride wore the Theo gown by Made With Love Bridal — a figure-hugging, effortlessly elegant dress that captured her vision of a relaxed yet sophisticated celebration. How did you meet?

We’ve known each other since we were 6/7 years old. Our dads were really good friends through work. Jack emigrated to Australia when he was 13 and we got intouch again when we were 25 ish, I flew out to see Jack and the rest is history! There was always something there just timings never were aligned!

 Low key wedding vibes, rustic and chilled out

Tell us about the dress! How did you know it was 'the one'?

The dress!! Where do I begin. Classy, understated, figuring hugging. I fell in love with the Made With Love Theo wedding dress before I tried her on! I could have had 6/7 of the dresses I tried on. But Theo was the one I felt the most comfortable in and I did pick it out before hand as my number one!

Any special memory from your EK appointment you'd love to share?

Kim and Holly made my whole experience, both put me at ease straight away and made me feel confident

What was your favourite moment on the wedding day?

Favourite moment on the wedding day was seeing Jack down the aisle with our little boy Ben.

What advice would you give to brides planning now? Anything else you'd love future EK brides to know?

My advice would be don’t sweat over the detail, as long as you have a registrar food and a bar - you’ve got a wedding!
