"How to Find the Perfect Florist for Your Wedding Day"

Choosing the perfect wedding florist is a crucial decision that can significantly impact the overall look and feel of your special day. Here are some essential steps to guide you in selecting the right florist:

Budget:

Determine your budget for wedding flowers. Be honest with your florist, a realistic budget allows them to create designs that align with your affordability.

Consultations:

Create a shortlist of wedding florists and meet with them. Share your vision, including Pinterest boards, dress details, and venue preferences. A good rapport is essential. Ask about their previous work and ask to see examples of their floral arrangements.

Availability and Date:

Check if your wedding date is available. Some florists limit the number of bookings per week to ensure personalized attention.

Remember, your wedding flowers contribute to the overall ambiance and memories captured in your photos. Choose a florist who resonates with your style and brings your floral dreams to life! One of our favourite local florist is Sarah Richards. Want to find out a bit more about her and her passion? Over to you Sarah....

Flowery Sarah Florist for Elizabeth Kate Bridal Crowle Doncaster

Hello, I'm Sarah, of Sarah Richards Bridal Florals. Wedding flowers are my absolute passion, and I specialise in rustic, romantic florals for Brides and their party, their ceremony and reception.

My floral career began when I was 18, and I have honestly loved working with flowers ever since that first day.

I create your florals from my home studio, in Scunthorpe, following the seasons, and using many local grown blooms (Lincolnshire has some wonderful small flower farms) along with the more traditional Dutch imports.

I love to watch how bridal and floral styles and trends develop, however I am always aware that it's your wedding and so I try to advise and guide, rather than dictate, working closely with you, to create your dream.

My sole aim is for your bouquet to take your breath away when you first glimpse it on your Wedding morning.

I can cater for literally any budget, a simple bridal bouquet and buttonholes will cost you around £200, a full wedding party, and venue around £2500. All my work is bespoke, so I don't offer packages as such, however I'm happy to use seasonal flowers of my choice if you are working within a budget.

I suggest getting in touch as soon as you have a date for your big day. I work mostly alone so I limit myself to one wedding per date. This means I book up very quickly. I don't require details at this point, however I can provide quotes and ideas whenever you require them.

Do contact me to begin your very own floral journey.
