KIM AND JACK: Real Elizabeth Kate Bride Wearing Made With Love Hudson Wedding Dress

From sixth form sweethearts to saying “I do” on a clifftop in Santorini, this couple’s story is straight out of a fairytale. Our stunning bride wore the Hudson gown by Made With Love — a sleek, low-back design that was both timeless and perfect for a sun-soaked destination wedding.

Set against the whitewashed backdrop of El Viento Santorini, this modern Grecian celebration featured fresh white roses, elegant sage bridesmaids, heartfelt personal vows, and the most incredible golden hour views. Every detail was simple, beautiful, and perfectly suited to the intimate island setting.

After saying yes to the dress at Elizabeth Kate Bridal, we created a bespoke veil to finish her look, and seeing her reaction when she tried it all on was a moment we’ll never forget. How did you meet?

We met at school. Jack offered me a brownie in the sixth form common room, it was a very good brownie!

We got engaged on an island in Bali. We had the best trip and the proposal just made it even more special.🩷

Tell us a little about the vibe or theme of your day (modern, romantic, boho, classic...)?

We wanted it to be really simple and modern. We chose to have white roses with green for the bridesmaid dresses. We thought the decoration matched the venue beautifully!

Tell us about the dress! How did you know it was 'the one'?

I first went to the appointment with the hope of trying a Made with Love dress. I saw so many beautiful dresses from this designer and thought they would be perfect for an abroad wedding! Kim and Holly were amazing when we got there. I didn't have an exact idea of what I would like at first, but Holly and Kim asked little details I would prefer and picked out dresses for me to try.

When I tried on my Made With Love Hudson wedding dress the first time, I was shocked! I had never pictured myself in a dress with a low back but I absolutely loved it on! The material of the dress was so beautiful and Kim and Holly altered the dress for me so it looked perfect!😍 Kim and Holly are such feel good people and I am so SO happy I got my dress from Elizabeth Kate. Holly even made me a bespoke veil to match my dress perfectly, amazing!

Any special memory from your EK appointment you'd love to share?

When my dress arrived and I saw it for the first time! It took around 7 months for my dress to arrive and you forget how beautiful it is during the wait, so seeing the dress and trying it on for the first time was definitely a special memory! 

What was your favourite moment on the wedding day?

I loved every minute! We did write our own vows, which were really special on the day and something we will always remember. 

What advice would you give to brides planning now?

Enjoy every minute! I would say try plan to do a little month by month, I think this helped us not to feel overwhelmed with the planning!
