How did you two meet?
Ok I’ll admit it, I slid into Luke’s DMs haha! It was during covid and we started talking one day and from that day on we spoke all day everyday for nearly 2 months. We finally met and went on numerous long covid walks where would we talk and talk for hours! It was on one scorching hot day when out walking I declared to him my geeky side of loving planes… he looked straight at me and said “Your joking?! I LOVE planes” That’s when I knew I did the right the thing sliding into his DMs and now he’s my husband!!
What about the proposal, how did it go?
If someone was to previously ask me what the most perfect proposal would be I wouldn’t be able to answer… until Luke proposed to me! We were on our first abroad holiday together in Torremolinos, Spain, mid week into our holiday we took at trip up to the beautiful old town of Benalmadena Pueblo. We took a stroll up the viewing point which sits in the ground of a stunning white historic church overlooking the whole of the Benalmadena coastline. He had us walking round the grounds about 30 minutes before choosing the perfect spot to get down on one knee… he also managed to get it on video! Simply perfect!
What was your wedding inspo/style?
Clean, crisp and elegant! We went with white and sage green for colour scheme with and lots of eucalyptus/greenery and white flowers. Whitley Hall Hotel was the most stunning venue.
Tell us about your dress!
My Enzoani Blue Wedding dress was truly stunning! I saw it on Pinterest and instantly fell in love. Before my appointment, I was so worried that it was going to be a matter of not liking the dress in person but as soon as I tried it on I fell in love with it even more!! I knew I wanted a fitted low back dress and that dress was the one.. It made me feel AMAZING!! I couldn’t have wished for better people than Kim and Holly to have been part of my dream dress journey, thank you so much!
What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
Wow this is such a hard question to answer as everything was perfect and I wouldn’t change a single thing! But I think I have to say just moment after the ‘I do’s” were done myself and Luke took ourself off for 10 minutes in the gardens alone to soak it all in, take a quick selfie and that’s when it sunk in.. we were Mr & Mrs Chambers! Also to have all our loved ones sharing our special day with us!
Any tips for the bride?
Enjoy every second from the minute you open your eyes in your wedding morning, because it’s the most special/amazing day of your life but also the most quickest! Also take that time alone even for 10 minutes and take a selfie.. the selfie we took is by far my favourite photo of the whole day!
