How did you meet?

Me and Jake met actually on bumble a dating site, but we actually went to the same college I didn't know him but he always had an eye for me apparently ☺️

Tell us about your proposal

Jake proposed in the lakes he got our daughter involved too. It was near Mother's Day and he had a necklace made for me from my daughter which Amara handed to me and Jake had the necklace engraved which said " mummy will you marry daddy" and as I looked up from reading the necklace Jake was on one knee ☺️💕

Where did your wedding take place? (Venue + Location)

Me and Jake tied the knot in Willerby just over the bridge, the venue was called The Barn Willerby Hill.

Tell us a little about the vibe or theme of your day ?

The vibe of our wedding was modern and a elegant with simple touches but beautiful. We had black incorporated in with the bridesmaid dresses and sage green and black for the suits with other neutral tones for table cloths etc and just little elements of black for the table decor. I had the most beautiful flowers all white with a touch of greenery. I had the biggest bridal bouquet I've ever seen! It really was stunning.

Tell us about the dress! How did you know it was ‘the one’?

My dress - Levi by Serene wedding dress with custom sleeves and Eva lendel Lika removable skirt! It really was a style I didn't think I would suit. The ladies at EK picked my dress out for me after seeing I just wasn't getting the spark from the other dresses I had tried on. They knew exactly how to dress my figure and the minute I tried the dress on I felt it suited me and my body shape perfectly! I also wanted lace which  we incorporated this in with the sleeves and my beautiful veil. I then decided to add a skirt to give the dress extra length and fullness to the back which created a whole new style to the dress. I was able to remove this for the evening which created another style to the dress. Having these options made the dress feel very custom and unique to me. It really was beautiful. When it was all together I felt so confident and amazing every fitting and even more so on the wedding day! 

Any special memory from your EK appointment you’d love to share?

My special moment with the ladies from EK HAS to be my last fitting standing there knowing it was the last time I'd try my dress on before the actual big day was surreal but so special to share that with two amazing ladies! 💕

What was your favourite moment on the wedding day?

My favourite moment on our wedding day of course is marrying Jake but also I took a moment to look around the room from the top table and to see how happy our friends and family were. They were all really enjoying themselves, it was so lovely to watch. And the speeches we had some beautiful speeches for both myself and Jake. There's so many amazing moments of the day I could write a book ☺️! 

What advice would you give to brides planning now?

• My advice to any brides planning a wedding now would be MILK it have as many hen doo's as you can. I think I had about 5 haha!

• Enjoy every moment because it comes and goes so fast.

• Make the lead up fun and not stressful embrace it all!
