Our gorgeous bride chose MWL Archie V2, pairing its timeless silhouette with the matching lace sleeves to create an effortlessly elegant bridal look that perfectly suited her whimsical vision.
From an engagement that almost didn't happen because of an airport power cut, to a magical sunset proposal in Kos, every part of their story feels wonderfully meant to be.

From a Local Pub to Forever
Every love story starts somewhere…
How did you and your partner meet?
We met in a local pub, Aidan spent the whole night trying to get me to go on a date with him... to no avail! Many months of pestering later i agreed to go on a date and the rest is history!
The Proposal That Nearly Didn't Happen
Sometimes the best proposals are the ones that don't quite go to plan.
Tell us about the proposal!
Aidan planned a lovely holiday to Rhodes. He organised a meal on the beach, rose petals candles he went the whole 9 yards !! Just as we set off to the airport we had news that Manchester airport had had a power cut and no flights could depart ! We booked another holiday from Leeds but sadly no seats left to Rhodes so we went to Kos instead. Poor Aidan was worrying the whole trip about what to do about the engagement, in the end he took me to a gorgeous private beach at sunset and popped the question there. It was magical
A Whimsical Wedding at Bawtry Hall
After saying "I do" in the beautiful village church of North Leverton, the celebrations moved to the stunning Bawtry Hall.
When and where did you get married?
We got married on Saturday the 20th of June at my village church in North Leverton and had our reception at Bawtry Hall.
What was your wedding vibe/theme?
My wedding vibes were very whimsical and bridgerton esq with a pink and white colour scheme. I wanted a really fun day so i packed it full of entertainment and fun along the way. One guest even referred to it as a rave 🤣
What was the wedding budget
We set out with a budget of 25k but it was deffo more hahaha (sorry Aidan & my Dad)
What was your favourite moment of the day?
My highlight of the day was walking down the aisle and seeing Aidans lovely reaction.

What made you choose Elizabeth Kate Bridal?
I saw they had a designer I liked and their dresses looked absolutely stunning. So glad I did !
Tell us about your dress, what did you fall in love with?
My dress is the Archie V2 by Made with Love. I loved all the dresses by this designer but i just kept wanting to put this dress on again and again ! I loved how simple it was with the small lace details, it made me feel so classy and just such a bride ! I especially loved the back as it suited my figure so well and the buttons made it look so classy.
How did you feel when you found "the one"?
I felt like a big weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I had the thought of 'oh what if i never find one i like' so i was so glad when i fell in love with multiple dresses at Elizabeth Kate.
Customising Her Wedding Dress
The smallest additions can completely change a bridal look.
Did you customise your dress or style it in a unique way?
I added the matching lace sleeves which i just absolutely adored. I had planned to take them off after the ceremony but i just loved wearing them too much !
Advice for Future Brides

What's one piece of advice you'd give to brides currently dress shopping?
I would say to do your research before hand and see the designers you like then pick your boutique based on if they stock this brand. I went to bridal boutique before elizabeth kate and i had no idea what i wanted or what brand i liked and it felt really overwhelming and was like i was looking for a needle in a haystack.
What would you say to someone considering visiting us?
Do it !! You will not regret your choice in visiting this bridal shop. This mother and daughter duo make you feel so relaxed and comfortable. It was nice to support a mum& daughter whilst having my own special moment with my mum picking out my wedding dress.
Advice For Future Brides
What's one piece of advice you'd give to brides about the planning/day/anything you think!?
I would just say to just YOLO!! You only get this day once in your life, dont look back with regrets just do what makes you and your partner happy!
