How did you two meet?
We met on a blind date set up by our friends. We went bowling and then to Ask Italian!
What about the proposal, how did it go?
It wasn't just the animals making a Roar at Yorkshire wildlife, when Matt got down on one knee.
What was your wedding style/inspo?
All I knew was that I wanted an October wedding with pumpkins! The rest followed after with lots of hours spent on pinterest and making different mood boards of colour options.
Tell us about your dress!
I had an idea in my head, I wanted sleeves and definitely not a puffy princess dress. I was so nervous to go dress shopping I had just had a baby and didn't think any dresses would fit. The girls were incredible they sat with us and made me feel at ease I tried so many amazing dresses on I thought it was going to be difficult to find the one because I loved them all. That was until they brought out Rebecca Ingram Lettie wedding dress, everything I didn't want in a dress and I loved her, as soon as I put her on I knew I had found the one. The girls encouraged me to try a few more dresses on but nothing could match up to how I felt with Lettie on so we all knew she was THE ONE!
What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
Everything I couldn't pick one bit. From seeing Matts face as I walked down the aisle to the fireworks at the end of the night. All of the months of planning and tears were 100% worth it.
Any changes? (Things you wish you'd done or wish you hadn't!)
Nothing our day was perfect to us and we wish we could do it all over again.
Any tips for brides to be?
Listen to the girls at the dress shop and be prepared to step out of your comfort zone you won't regret it.
Don't stress and remember everyone is there to watch you marry the love of your life, not to see the show you have put on! If you and your partner are happy your guests will be to!
