How did you two meet?
We met at our favourite bar In Cleethorpes at the time, The Bootlegger through my sister and her partner who happens to be Craig’s best friend.
What about the proposal, how did it go?
The proposal happened when we were visiting New York, on Valentine’s Day. My mum had booked us a horse and carriage ride round Central Park and he asked me then, it was perfect.
What was your wedding style/inspo?
I absolutely loved the pampas/boho styles I had seen on Pinterest (best thing ever for wedding inspo) and then with it being December we really wanted darker greens and golds with candles and pampas/dried flowers mixed in. I think it all came together perfectly.
Tell us about your dress!
My Enzoani Love Aisha wedding dress was the complete opposite to what I asked for when I walked in Elizabeth Kate but I absolutely loved it and felt amazing all day! We decided to add a detachable sleeve and it just worked perfectly for our winter theme 😍
What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
For me, my favourite part of the day was during the wedding breakfast, looking round the room watching our guests enjoying themselves, having all our family and friends surrounding us, we were way more relaxed by then, so I just took a minute to really appreciate that we were married and everyone we love is there for us.
Any changes? (Things you wish you’d done or wish you hadn’t!)
I honestly wouldn’t change a thing about the day, everything went to plan and even though it rained for the majority of the day we just decided to embrace it and go for the photos in the rain and I’m so glad we did
Any tips for brides to be?
Enjoy every minute of planning, the stress, the worry, the nerves the excitement, every single part of it as it flies by, the day is done sooo quickly you wish you had more time
A little tip someone told me was to use a little bit of eyelash glue on the clasp of your necklace to stop it from moving round to the front of your neck
