Some love stories come full circle.
Kassidy and Ryan first met as teenagers, but it wasn't until years later that a second message on social media changed everything. After one coffee date, they took a leap of faith and booked a last-minute holiday to Greece. Nine years later, they returned to the very place that had become so special to them to celebrate their wedding with 75 of their closest family and friends.
For her relaxed destination wedding at the beautiful Kallithea Springs in Rhodes, Kassidy chose Rebecca Ingram's Hattie from Elizabeth Kate Bridal, adding bespoke touches that made her bridal look completely her own.

How did you and your partner meet?
As teenagers we were friends... years passed and both finding ourselves single, Ry sent me a message on social and gave me his number.... I never made contact 😬
Six months later he said I'm trying again let's do coffee, so we met, thought what the hell booked a last minute holiday to Greece for 10 weeks post first date and the rest is is history. The reason we went back to get married nine years later 🫶
Tell us about the proposal!
Oh gosh! I made this hard-work for him. Ordinarily I love a beaut country pub date, Ry found a lovely one just outside Lincoln, but I was so grumpy all week and kept saying cancel the table we'll just stay in and have a pizza and became more grumpy when he was insistent on going.
We had a beaut meal, and said let's walk down the canal. It had just stopped raining and I had heels so on, so moaned again 🤣🤣 Anyway I agree to go for walk down the canal...he started walking saying oh I'm just off to read about the kayaking and then I start walking back to the car🤣 he's running after me..so we get in the car and he passes me the box.. still didn't click thought he'd just bought me a nice ring 🤣🤣 bless him!

What was your wedding vibe/theme?
Chilled natural Vibes, with a Greek Bbq on the beach.
What was the wedding budget
Not as much as it was 🤣
What was your favourite moment of the day?
I don't think I could pick one, 75 people flew out to Greece with us and we just spent the whole day feeling incredibly lucky, to be surrounded by the such special friends and family. We just kept looking round locking eyes and saying how lucky are we.
What made you choose Elizabeth Kate Bridal?
I had seen you advertise on social and could see you had beautiful dresses, but I knew within of meeting you both that I wasn't leaving the shop without my dress.
I felt so at ease with you both, your relationship is beautiful 🩷
Tell us about your dress, what did you fall in love with?
The feel, the colour, the large lace print, the way I didn't have to think about how I looked because it just felt amazing. And the customised cathedral length veil 😍😍😍 I'm still so in love with my veil!
How did you feel when you found "the one"?
Beautiful 🫶
Did you customise your dress or style it in a unique way?
Yes I added some Tulle drop sleeves with lace that matched my dress over the top.
And the most beautiful veil!
What's one piece of advice you'd give to brides currently dress shopping?
Come to Elizabeth Kate!!
Take something from each one you try on, even if it's not the one think about what bit you like on that dress, piece them together to eventually find the one 🩷
What would you say to someone considering visiting us?
Get booked! These girls are the best.
What's one piece of advice you'd give to brides about the planning/day/anything you think!?
Don't sweat the small stuff, no one will remember the colour of the napkins, but they will remember the memories.
We booked Greek dancers, everyone got involved and we had so many laughs.
Let people come to you for hugs and photos, cling on to your husband's hand and have the best time together it goes so quick.
Don't ban phones we've got some amazing videos and photos from our guests.
Anything else you'd love to share about your experience?
Just a thank you, I love that you listened and took the stress out of me having to browse the rails to pull dresses out. You are obviously amazing because it was the first one I tried on.
Nothing was ever to much trouble and everytime I visited it was like coming home

My sisters stationary business KbyKeets - She did all my hen stationary and everything for the wedding. She boxed up and brought all it all over to Greece, it was stunning🩵
