How did you two meet? We actually went to High school together where we had a very short lived romance! We rekindled our romance around 2010 (couldn't shake him off!)
What about the proposal, how did it go? He had grand plans to propose on a holiday we were due to go on in 2020, of course that never happened (thanks Covid), so he actually proposed on a walk we went on, at the top of our favourite hill. It was really sweet and I genuinely wasn't expecting it! What was your wedding style/inspo? We had a May wedding so I really wanted pretty spring florals, lots of lace and a romantic, vintage sort of feel. Tell us about your dress! I loved my Elysee Etoile Evangeline wedding dress! It was very fitted, with beautiful floral lace detail. I had pretty beaded drop sleeves and I loved the scalloped hem on the dress, it went perfectly with my cathedral length veil.
What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
I really enjoyed the ceremony! It was so personal and special, I couldn't stop smiling. The whole day was amazing, it's hard to pick one part! We were very fortunate with the weather & I'll always be grateful for that
Any changes? (Things you wish you'd done or wish you hadn't!)
Nothing I'd change, but I think I'd stress less in the build up! It doesn't have to be perfect, no one will notice if some tiny detail isn't quite right!
Any tips for brides to be? Enjoy every second, it goes so quick! One thing I found really helpful - make sure you draw up (& print off!) a list of all the groups you'd like photographs with, and ask a bridesmaid or groomsman to be in charge of rounding everyone up (it's hard work!)
