How did you two meet?
We met at work! Tom was the chef, and I worked front of house. Both being full time and spending so much time together, things just blossomed from there!
What about the proposal, how did it go?
The proposal was in lockdown, we were meant to be in the Dominican Republic (where he had planned to pop the question!) But due to circumstances we couldn’t go. So Tom proposed whilst we were putting the Christmas tree up! It was super cute and unexpected!
What was your wedding style/inspo?
We wanted a super natural wedding, neutrals, greens, with a pop of dark orange!
Tell us about your dress!
My Elysee Etoile Penelope wedding dress was stunning! The moment I put it on, I knew it was the one! It matched the theme of the wedding so well.
What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
I can’t even tell you my favourite part! I think when I saw Tom waiting for me at the end of the aisle, that was the best feeling. And also once everyone had gone, and the realisation hit that we were now married!!
Any changes? (Things you wish you’d done or wish you hadn’t!)
I wish I hadn’t been so nervous!! I couldn’t even finish a glass of Prosecco in the morning because of nerves. But other than that, I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
Any tips for brides to be?
My tips for brides would be to try on all the dresses! You’ll know it’s the one when you put it on. Don’t listen to other peoples options, it’s your wedding, not theirs!!
