How did you two meet?
So...We met at Toni&Guy. We both worked there and clicked straight away.
What about the proposal, how did it go?
Kev proposed to me on Filey sea front. We had gone with the kids for a day out and he kept saying he wanted to go back down to the sea front for a family picture - very unlike Kev! So we headed back down. He went to ask a lady to take our picture so I got Reggie out of he pram. I then felt a hand grab mine and when I turned around Kev was down on one knee! I couldn't believe it, I just kept saying OMG! After being together 9 years I thought it was never going to happen. I was totally blown away!
What was your wedding style/inspo?
All the boho! We knew we wanted to get married on a beach in Greece and just have a really intimate service.
Tell us about your dress!
Well! You guys totally worked your magic with me. It's always a style of dress I loved but I didn't think I could pull it off/or would be too hot in for a destination wedding. The Rebecca Ingram Raelynn wedding dress was just perfect. Everything about it. I felt amazing in it and EVERYBODY has said how beautiful it was.
What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
My favourite part has to be the actual ceremony on the beach. It was just everything I had dreamed it would be and more. Just a really nice chilled, intimate vibe. Even though we were on the beach and there were people on the beach watching - it felt like it was just me and Kev there in that moment.
Any changes? (Things you wish you'd done or wish you hadn't?)
The only thing we wished we had done was go into Kardamena in our wedding outfits for cocktails!
Any tips for brides to be?
My advice would be to plan your wedding the way YOU want it to be. Embrace every second as it goes so quickly and just get lost in those special moments.
