From the moment she stepped into our boutique, we knew Kelley would be one of those unforgettable EK brides, warm-hearted, glowing with excitement, and ready to find the dress that truly felt like her. And her love story with Dave is just as joyful. What started as a chance meeting at the school where she works soon grew into a six–year romance filled with laughter, shared adventures, and one beautifully spontaneous proposal. Their wedding at the stunning Nuddock Wood Lake was a picture-perfect blend of classic elegance, heartfelt moments, and a whole lot of love.

How did you meet?

At the school I work at! Dave came in to teach football to my class and six months later he managed to get me to go on a date with him haha, 6 years later we’re married!

Tell us about your proposal

We had gone for a lovely weekend away at a little glamping pod with the dog. As I was unpacking the fridge Dave hugged me and dropped down to one knee! It was the easiest yes of my life! We then got so excited and went to jump in the hot tub only to find it freezing cold as they had forgot to turn it on for our arrival!

Tell us a little about the vibe or theme of your day ?

Our day theme was classic elegant styling with lots of white flowers, green foliage and navy accents.

Tell us about the dress!

My Greer by Serene wedding dress was absolutely STUNNING! From the moment I stepped in it that morning I knew I’d never want to take it off!

How did you know it was ‘the one’?

I tried quite a few dresses on but wasn’t 100% sure on any. When I tried on my dress my mum and sister's face lit up and they said mine did the same! I felt so confident and happy in my dress and just couldn’t stop twirling around!

Any special memory from your EK appointment you’d love to share?

Sharing my appointments with my mum and my sister  and bringing along my one of my best friends too! Seeing their smiles made me know I was choosing the most amazing dress!

What was your favourite moment on the wedding day?

Absolutely everything. From the night before getting ready with my girls, seeing all our friends and family as I walked up the aisle, having a moment for myself Dave and our dog Nellie after the ceremony, the most heartfelt speeches, the most incredible firework display and dancing the night away with our loved ones!

What advice would you give to brides planning now?

Try not to get too overwhelmed, your day will be absolutely perfect to you even if things don’t go as planned

Anything else you’d love future EK brides to know?

Absolutely all the dresses are incredibly beautiful and whichever you pick you will look amazing and the ladies will make you feel on top of the world every time you visit
